10 Best Home Remedies For Treating Diaper Rash
Diaper rash is a very common problem in young babies but we can easily treat and prevent it with home remedies. What Is Diaper Rash? Diaper rash is skin irritation in the area where diaper is worn. Though diaper rash is common in babies, old people who wear diapers also can get diaper rash. It is also called diaper dermatitis. What Causes Diaper Rash? The most common cause for diaper rash is contact dermatitis and it can range from mild redness to severe skin peeling. Usually contact dermatitis is caused when the skin is in contact with soiled diapers for long duration's of time. The second reason is bacterial or fungal infection, diaper rash can be secondarily infected with bacteria or fungi. The third reason is allergies, some of the common allergens are perfumes present in some of the creams used for babies, even some soaps used for washing cloth diapers can cause allergies. Diaper Rash Symptoms: Some of the common symptoms of diaper rash are redness in the affected area. In some severe cases, pustules and small blisters can also form in the area and it can be accompanied by fever and swelling too. Severe diaper rash can be due to secondary infection, if the symptoms are very severe I would suggest consulting your pediatrician immediately. How To Prevent Diaper Rash: Try to change soiled diapers immediately, this one single tip alone will go a long way in preventing diaper rash. Also make sure the diapers are not too tight and if you are using cloth diapers try to wash them in mild detergents that does not have strong fragrances or color. The best natural option is to use soap nut liquid for washing the cloth diapers and sundry the cloth diapers after washing. Try to avoid baby powders that are highly fragrant as the synthetic fragrance also can irritate the delicate skin. I would also suggest not using chemical based creams instead opt for natural plant based oils like unrefined coconut oil. If you are not using cloth diapers, I would suggest giving a break and not using diapers at least for some time during the day. Also I wanted to mention about two common remedies used for treating diaper rash, one is baking soda and the other is petroleum jelly. I don't prefer them because baking soda is drying on the skin and petroleum jelly like the name mentions is a petroleum by product which is not advisable for anyone let alone babies. But if you plan on using them, please research well before using them on babies skin. If the diaper rash is not severe, you can easily treat it with anyone of the home remedies given below.....

10 Top Wart Removal Home Remedies, Treatment, Causes & Types
Wart is a very common and harmless skin condition that affects many people. Though you can remove it surgically, there are wonderful herbs and home remedies to treat warts easily. Here in our village, we use a herb called amman pacharisi to treat warts. We apply the milky sap of the plant on the wart till it falls off. What Are Warts? Warts refers to small, hard growths in the skin consisting of dead skin cells. We get warts when viruses, mostly the human papilloma type affect our skin. They are usually painless and harmless but can be unsightly. But plantar wart which refers to the warts that appear on our feet can be painful when we walk as the weight of body presses it inwards. Warts have a rough surface and can be either lighter or darker in color. Types Of Warts? Warts are called by different names depending on the area it is found. Warts can appear on the fingers (common warts), scalp, face, thighs, arms (flat warts) elbows, knees, genitals (genital warts are caused by a different type of virus which is more serious than other warts), around mouth (filiform wart), under finger and toenails (periungal wart) and on feet (plantar wart). Warts that appear on the scalp and on our feet can be problematic as they sometimes bleed when we comb our hair or walk. Warts Conventional Treatment: Conventional treatment includes applying ointments, burning with chemicals, using liquid nitrogen and cauterizing with an electric needle. If you are planning on using liquid nitrogen, please talk to your doctor about side effects as it does not agree with everyone. If you are considering homeopathy, thuja pills are very famous for treating warts, consult a homeopathic doctor before consuming them. Warts Prevention: If you tend to get plantar warts, wear sandals when you visit common places like swimming pool and spas as they spread faster in moist floors. Warts usually develops when our immunity is very low so try to improve your immunity by eating healthy, improving your intake of vitamin C rich foods and getting plenty of rest. Also consider taking multivitamin after consulting with your doctor to improve immunity. Stress also can contribute to warts as it lowers our immunity so try your best to keep your self relaxed and happy to prevent warts. One other tip is soak the wart in water to soften it before doing any treatment, this makes the treatment more effective....

10 Top Exercises & Tips To Reduce Belly Fat After Pregnancy Fast
I wanted to share some of the effective remedies to reduce belly fat after pregnancy that has been followed in our village for a long time. When we get pregnant our stomach slowly expands to accommodate the growing baby and this happens during a period of nine months. We should give our body almost the same time to get back to it's original shape too. Following the remedies given below will help speed up the process of belly fat reduction after pregnancy. These remedies can be followed while breast feeding also. When I delivered my son, though I was keen to get back in shape, I never let it stress me. I just followed the simple remedies that was followed in our village for many years and slowly I lost belly fat and got back to my original shape. Please be patient with yourself, already your body is going through a lot of stress due to the demanding schedule of a newborn child. If you are not patient, you will start cutting down on calories drastically to lose belly fat quickly. Though it is bad for anyone to cut calories drastically, it is especially worse when done after delivery. We lose lot of muscle not body fat when we cut calories drastically and breast milk also will reduce considerably. Stress is also an another factor, when we are stressed, the stress hormone cortisol will be elevated which will hinder fat loss. So try your best to keep your self relaxed and catch up on the lost sleep whenever your baby is sleeping. Try to eat nutritious home cooked food along with the garlic soup I have mentioned below, try to reduce your stress levels by resting whenever you can and do the exercises I have mentioned daily and you will start seeing results soon. After delivery, my doctor taught me the exercises mentioned below and they helped me a lot to get back to my original shape. I had normal delivery and I started doing the exercises given six weeks after delivery. If you have had caesarean, I would suggest waiting for at least eight weeks before doing the exercises. Listen to your body, if you are in any pain while doing the exercise, please give yourself more time....

How To Use Clove Essential Oil To Treat Toothache | 3 Top Ways !
Applying clove essential oil also called as lavang oil in Hindi is one of the most popular remedies for tooth pain. Cloves are actually the flower buds of a tree whose botanical name is Syzygium Aromaticum. Cloves are native to Indonesia but now it is grown in many countries including India. I have always wanted to grow clove tree in our farm and I even planted one few months back. But due to the severe drought we are facing now, it just died last week which really upset me. Clove is one spice that I always stock in my pantry as I use it always to season the curries and rice. Now lately I stock up clove essential oil too to use in remedies as it has wonderful medicinal properties. For treating toothache, I use clove essential oil as such or use it along with pounded cloves for making mouth wash. Clove based mouth washes are not only effective for treating toothache, it also treats tooth decay, tooth cavity, gum diseases, gum pain and tooth infection. Eugenol is the main bio active compound of clove that is found in very high concentrations, almost 89% of clove essential oil contains eugenol. Three types of essential oils are distilled from clove tree - clove bud essential oil, clove leaf oil and clove stem oil. Out of these three, clove bud essential oil is the most widely used and I would suggest using it for toothache. The reason clove essential oil is wonderful for treating tooth pain is because it has powerful analgesic, antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties. It not only helps reduce the pain and inflammation, it also helps treat the infection very effectively. Another interesting fact about clove oil is it is a very effective anesthetic. It is so effective that it can effectively replace the traditional gel benzocaine used for reducing the pain before needle insertion or tooth extraction. You can read the study that proves it here. Clove Essential Oil Side Effects: Eugenol present in clove essential oil should not be ingested in large doses, it can be rapidly absorbed and enter our blood stream. Eugenol is prooxidant in large doses! If we use clove essential oil repeatedly often in large doses, it can cause intense irritation and some times can lead to tissue burns too. Try not to swallow clove essential oil and make sure to use just a tiny drop of clove oil on the affected teeth. Pregnant women should not use this remedy. Where to buy clove essential oil for treating toothache? You can easily order clove essential oil online. While buying make sure it says clove essential oil and not clove oil as clove oil is just an infusion which can be easily made at home like given below...

10 Top Health Benefits Of Salt Water Gargle (Warm Salt Water Rinse)
One of the easiest at home remedies that has amazing health benefits is salt water gargle. Almost all of us must have used salt water gargle to treat sore throat in some point in our lives, it is that famous all over the world. But salt water has other amazing uses other than relieving sore throat. What is salt water gargle? For those of you who don't know, salt water gargle is the act of gargling our mouth with warm water in which salt is dissolved. How does salt water gargle work? Salt water gargle works by a process called osmosis. Osmosis is a process in which the solvent moves from an area of higher concentration to lower concentration to create an area of equilibrium. When we gargle with salt water, salt moves into the inflamed tissues by the process of osmosis and draws out moisture from the swollen and inflamed tissues. Since salt has anti bacterial properties, it kills some of the bacteria and helps flush out the toxins effectively. When we gargle with salt water, the salt makes the area not hospitable for the bacteria to thrive and since it also reduces inflammation, it helps reduces the pain significantly too. How To Do Salt Water Gargle? To do salt water gargle, mix 1 tsp of sea salt in a cup of warm water and stir to dissolve it completely. Now take a big sip, tilt your head back and gargle for 15 to 30 seconds. When you are gargling, little bit of the water might go into the stomach which is normal. Spit it out after 30 seconds and repeat the process till you have used up the rest of the salt water. If anyone of us suffer from sore throat at home, my grandma used to make us do salt water gargle three times a day so I would suggest the same too. Side Effects & Precautions: Gargling with salt water once in a while as a treatment is fine but try not to do it on daily basis as it might effect the teeth and try not to swallow the salt water rinse too much as it can lead to vomiting in some people. Too much swallowing will dry out the throat leading to more pain.....

10 Best Home Remedies To Remove Stretch Marks
Many of us suffer from stretch marks and though it is not a harmful condition it does cause mental distress. If you have stretch marks, there are wonderful home remedies for removing them. Stretch marks also called as striae medically is actually a type of scarring that occurs when our skin is stretched at a rapid pace. You can read about all the causes and medical treatments available for stretch marks here. Stretch marks occurrence is very common during pregnancy especially during the last trimester when the belly skin stretches, during puberty when there is a sudden growth spurt and after drastic weight loss. When stretch marks appear they appear dark in color due to the above said changes and then fade over time. Stretch marks can be found in the stomach, breasts, thighs, buttocks, breasts and shoulders. When I spoke to some medical professionals about it they all mentioned that stretch marks can be very difficult to treat but can be done if we follow the treatments regularly. Don't expect instant results, follow these remedies regularly and with time it will start fading. Unlike chemical treatments, herbal remedies for stretch marks does not have any side effects and can be used for long periods of time safely. Home remedies like mentioned below improve the collagen production and blood circulation in the skin and also helps increase the skin elasticity thus greatly helping in healing and fading stretch marks. I have given ten home remedies that are very effective for removing stretch marks, use them regularly to see good results. The time it takes for stretch marks to fade will vary from person to person but consistency is the key for removing stretchmarks naturally at home. Choose a remedy you like and use it consistently. Try not to use ingredients that are harsh on the skin like lemon juice, vinegar and baking soda for removing stretch marks. Even if you do, moisturize your skin later without fail. Personally I like massaging my skin with a blend of extra virgin olive oil, vitamin e oil and coconut oil (I have given the link to to the recipe below). To prevent stretch marks, regularly massage the skin with pure unrefined oils. It will improve skin elasticity and will go a long way in preventing stretch marks in the first place....

5 Side Effects Of Drinking Lemon Water With Honey In The Morning
Like many I love lemon water made by mixing lemon juice, honey and warm water. It is also one of the most popular remedies for weight loss and to detox the body naturally. After years of using natural remedies, I have learnt one important lesson and that is to get to know the side effects before using any natural remedy on a regular basis. It applies to lemon water too. Lemon water has wonderful medicinal uses and you can read about all of it's health benefits here. But we should get to know how to use it correctly to prevent any side effects especially if you decide to have it on a regular basis. The reason lemon and honey water is so effective is it is rich in vitamin c which is an antioxidant thus helping us improve our immunity greatly. But lemon is also highly acidic which is why it will not agree for everyone. In my personal experience, if we have lemon water in between meals most people can tolerate it well. But if consumed in empty stomach in the morning, it might cause problems especially in people who are prone to gastric problems like ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome. Few years back, I started consuming lemon water in empty stomach regularly, I was having it in between meals and I felt great. I never had any digestive problems, always felt fresh and never got a cold too. It was all going great till one of my friends advised me to take lemon water in empty stomach. Once I started consuming lemon water in empty stomach, I started getting slight stomach burn and a gnawing feeling in my stomach. I stopped consuming lemon water and took manathakali soup for a few days to get rid of the burning sensation. If you are prone to stomach ulcers never consume acidic foods in empty stomach, have it in between meals. I would also suggest not over consuming lemon water, take one to two cups of lemon water a day and no more. If you are a diabetic, skip the honey in lemon water and add a tiny pinch of salt and consume.....

10 Best Foods To Increase Platelet Count Naturally | Thrombocytopenia Remedies
Low platelet count also known as thrombocytopenia is a medical condition in which our platelets are lower than normal. Platelets also called thrombocytes are colorless cells produced by bone marrow that are present in our blood stream and their main function is clotting. Bone marrow which is found inside the bones contains stem cells which mature and develop into white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. The problem occurs when the bone marrow is destroyed due to some diseases like leukemia or if the production is slowed down due to life style factors like drinking, diseases like dengue, toxin exposure and taking certain medications. The normal levels of platelets found in the blood are 150000 to 450000. When the platelet count drops down to 30000 to 50000 per micro liter, the risk of bleeding when injured increases and if it drops below 15000, we start bleeding even without injury and it gets really dangerous the more the platelet count drops. You can take a blood test called complete blood count to find the platelet count. There will not be any symptoms when the platelet count is mildly low but when the platelet drops very low some might experience external bleeding from the nose or gums. The most common symptoms of very low platelet count is difficulty stopping the wounds from bleeding. There are amazing herbs and foods for increasing platelet count that are backed by research. Five of the most common foods for increasing platelet count are 1. Amla juice: Amla also called as Indian gooseberry is an amazing in increasing platelet count. Drink amla juice often to increase platelet count. 2. Wheat Grass Juice: Wheat grass juice made by grinding wheat grass with little water is an amazing way to increase platelet count. 3. Leafy Greens: Consuming leafy greens daily is an other effective way to increase platelet count effectively. 4. Pomegranate Juice: If you are suffering from low platelet count try to consume either amla juice or pomegranate juice daily, both will help increase platelet count fast. 5. Sesame Seeds: Consuming sesame seeds is an amazing way to increase platelet count. At home we make a traditional sweet with sesame seeds called ellu urundai. It is a traditional remedy for people suffering from anemia.....

10 Top Causes, Symptoms & Treatments For Dandruff We Should Know
Dandruff affects young and old and though it is not a serious condition, it can be uncomfortable as it causes itching and severe flakiness. I got dandruff when I went to hostel, my scalp was constantly itchy and hair fall also started very soon. The hostel food also was poor and added to the problem. When I came home for the long holidays, my mom treated my dandruff with at home treatments which worked really well. I still continue to do those treatments at home regularly to keep my scalp dandruff free. But before we get to know the traditional home remedies for dandruff, we should get to know what causes dandruff in the first place. Prevention is always better than cure and if we get to know the reasons we can prevent getting dandruff in the first place. When I first spoke to a dermatologist about it, he said that the exact cause of dandruff is not known but he mentioned all the possible reasons that we could get dandruff. Since I had dandruff, I could personally relate to many of the reasons he mentioned which I have listed below. Dandruff Symptoms: The most common symptoms are appearance of excessive amount of white flakes in the scalp and extreme itchiness. For me, it was mild itchiness and flakiness and once I started using home remedies, it stopped very quickly. I will be doing a separate post on all the natural remedies for dandruff soon. Common Treatments: The common treatment for dandruff involves using anti dandruff shampoos containing certain special ingredients. The first ingredient is ketaconazole which is used for treating fungal infections that cause dandruff. The next ingredient used in dandruff shampoos is salicylic acid which helps loosen the flakes found in the scalp which when stuck to the scalp can increase the infection further. The third common ingredient used is coal tar which helps reduce the inflammation. The next ingredient is selenium sulphide which helps reduce the fungal infection well and finally in extreme cases steroids are prescribed. I would suggest using home remedies but if you want to try these shampoos apply them on the scalp only the number of times prescribed and leave it on the scalp only for the time mentioned in the bottle. Some of these shampoos can cause side effects so if you experience any adverse effects stop using them immediately and consult your dermatologist about it.....

10 Top Causes, Symptoms & Treatment For Low Platelet Count (Thrombocytopenia)
Low platelet count also known as thrombocytopenia is a medical condition in which our platelets are lower than normal. Last week my son suffered from dengue fever in which his platelet count dropped drastically and we used natural remedies and methods to raise his platelet levels. I also did a quite of bit of research about it and wanted to record what I learnt in the blog. What Are Platelets? Platelets also called as thrombocytes are colorless cells produced by bone marrow and are present in our blood stream and their main function is clotting. They stop bleeding by clumping and clotting and this process is called hemostasis. When there is injury and blood loss, platelets gather at the place in large numbers, they attach themselves to the substances present in the area and then they connect to each other and form a plug thus arresting the bleeding. Unless the bleeding and wound is too large they arrest the bleeding effectively. Bone marrow which is found inside the bones contains stem cells which mature and develop into white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. The problem occurs when the bone marrow is destroyed due to some diseases like leukemia or if the production is slowed down due to life style factors like drinking, toxin exposure and taking certain medications. Platelet Count Normal Range? The normal levels of platelets found in the blood are 150000 to 450000. The platelet count can vary during menstruation. In healthy people platelets last for about 7 to 10 days after which they die at which point they are replaced by new platelet cells produced by bone marrow. When the platelet count drops down to 30000 to 50000 per micro liter, the risk of bleeding when injured increases and if it drops below 15000, we start bleeding even without injury and it gets really dangerous the more the platelet count drops. You can take a blood test called complete blood count to find the platelet count. We were doing the total blood count test daily for my son to determine the platelet count when he had dengue fever till it started reversing and started the uptrend. Low Platelet Count Symptoms: There will not be any symptoms when the platelet count is mildly low but when the platelet drops very low some might experience external bleeding from the nose or gums. The most common symptoms of very low platelet count is difficulty stopping the wounds from bleeding. I had a friend who suffered from low platelet count and it used to be difficult to arrest the blood flow from even a small wound for her. Some women might experience heavy menstrual flow. Low Platelet Count Treatment: The usual treatments are medications to increase platelet count, platelet transfusions and surgery in very severe cases. There are also wonderful home remedies for increasing the platelet count (I will be posting them this week) but the remedies will be of no use if we don't change our lifestyle habits that lead to low platelet levels in the first place: a. Eliminate Alcohol: If you have low platelet count, try to cut down the amount of alcohol you are consuming and over time try to eliminate it completely as it decreases the production of platelets. b. Eat Healthy: We all know that eating healthy is vital to good health but it is especially important when you are suffering from low platelet count as it can lead to deficiencies like vitamin b12 which can slow down the production of platelets. Try to eliminate processed foods, white sugar, sodas and junk food that has empty calories providing us with zero nutrition. Also increase your intake of water. c. Get Rid Of Toxins: Try to go natural and buy organic produce as much as possible. Try to use natural cleaning products at home like lemon, vinegar and baking soda instead of store bought chemicals. Also instead of using chemical based beauty and makeup products, try making your own face packs, shampoos and hair oils without any chemicals. You will find many natural recipes in this channel. Try not to reheat food in microwave often especially in plastic containers. Don't use synthetic fragrance, use pure essential oils for fragrance. d. Learn Home Remedies: Try your best to treat common problems like cold and flu with home remedies instead of taking antibiotics each time. Once you learn to use natural remedies to treat common problems, you will never go back to taking antibiotics often. e. Drink Nilavembu Kudineer: Instead of using pain killers for reducing pain and inflammation which lower platelet count, use natural pain killers like nilavembu kudineer which have anti inflammatory and platelet increasing properties. You can find the recipe for it here.

10 Top Ways To Remove Upper Lip Hair At Home Naturally & Permanently
One of the most annoying problems we women face is unwanted facial growth especially upper lip hair. Many visit beauty salons regularly for waxing to remove the upper lip hair. But upper lip hair can be easily removed at home permanently with natural home remedies and I wanted to share all of them. But what causes upper lip hair? Excessive hair growth on face and body is called hirsutism and it is caused due to hormonal imbalance and is mostly common in women suffering from poly cystic ovarian syndrome (pcos). Some hair on our upper lip is normal and is mostly genetic but if the hair growth is dark, coarse and very visible then it is highly likely to be due to hormonal imbalance. The best way to stop hair growth on upper lip is to treat pcos and you can find how to treat pcos with natural home remedies easily here. Once pcos is treated, upper lip hair won't grow as thick and coarse anymore and you can easily remove the existing hair with the remedies given below. Different ways to remove upper lip hair? Some of the common methods used for removing upper lip hair instantly are plucking unwanted upper lip hair with tweezers, waxing, using hair removing creams and electric trimmers. Finally there are homemade scrubs which helps stunt the hair growth permanently but it takes time and depending on the coarseness of the hair might take months to see results but the results are permanent. I would suggest not using tweezers to pluck upper lip hair especially if the hair is thick as it injures the skin. The best option is to use instant hair removal methods like waxing or using an electric trimmer to remove existing hair along with using homemade scrubs daily. This way we can remove existing hair and arrest further hair growth simultaneously. When you continuously use both methods, you will find hair growth gradually diminish and over time will stop completely. The time it takes will depend on how coarse your hair is. To use the below given scrubs, make it into a paste and apply as a thick coat on the upper lip. Wait for it to almost dry and then start rubbing gently in small circular motions and then remove it off. Wash your face and then apply a moisturizer without fail.....

3 Top Dengue Fever Treatments, Symptoms, Causes, Remedies & Prevention
Here in Tamil Nadu, Dengue fever is spreading rapidly in the place where my son is studying and many of the students including my son got it. I wanted to share all the treatments and the remedies that we did for our son. It can be very scary to see platelets and blood pressure drop so fast, please don't worry. With good care, it will get better within 3 to 4 days. What Causes Dengue? Dengue is a fever caused by dengue virus. It is a mosquito borne disease that is spread by Aedes type mosquitoes. We only get dengue when we get bitten by infected Aedes mosquitoes. Dengue Fever Signs & Symptoms Day By Day: Last week, 3 of the 5 children in my son's hostel room got dengue fever. I was quite worried and the same day night my son called us home and said he was not feeling well. The next day early morning, we went to pick him up and by then the fever had shot up to 103 degrees and he had severe headache and light cramps in the legs. Some of the common symptoms of dengue other than high fever are headaches, cramps and rashes but my son didn't have rashes. Body tiredness, pain in the legs and feverishness were the early symptoms. Since his body temperature shot up quickly, by the time we reached the school, the doctor in the school had given him a paracetamol to bring the temperature down. Lab Tests For Dengue: My son slept all the way back home from school and once we reached home, we gave him plenty of water and took him to his pediatrician to confirm whether it was dengue fever. After doing a blood test she confirmed it was dengue like I feared. His blood pressure started dropping by then and his platelet count also started dropping. Dengue Fever Treatment Day By Day: Dengue Fever 1'st day: Once it was confirmed that it was dengue fever, the doctor advised plenty of fluids and to give him paracetamol if the fever crossed 100 degrees. After the paracetamol given in the school, his temperature went back to normal and he didn't have any temperature and headache the whole day but his platelets was down and his blood pressure also was low. He kept having plenty of fluids and I gave him papaya leaf juice in the evening. Dengue Fever 2nd Day: The second day, I gave him papaya leaf juice in the morning and evening. He didn't have fever in the morning but suddenly it shot up to 102 degrees in the afternoon though his intake of fluids was good. Evening, we took him to do a blood test again, his platelet count dropped further to 116000 and his total wbc dropped to 4300. He was getting tired of drinking huge amounts of water and he started having headache by the end of the evening. So I started giving him electrolyte water along with warm homemade soups. I gave papaya leaf juice in the morning and evening too. Dengue Fever 3rd day: Because of the huge amount of liquid intake, he was barely taking solid food and all of us barely slept that night as we kept checking on him throughout the night as we worried that his temperature might suddenly shoot up again. He didn't have temperature in the morning but got fever in the afternoon, his temperature was around 100 degrees. Since we are living in a village, we took him to town in the evening for the blood test. Though his liquid intake was good, his platelets dropped further down to 111000 and his wbc dropped to 3000. He continued taking papaya leaf extract. Dengue Fever 4th day: He didn't have temperature the whole day and his liquid intake was good. I kept giving him light but nourishing foods like idli in the morning, rasam in the afternoon and plenty of vegetable soups and fresh coconut water from the farm. We took him for the blood test in the evening and to our relief, his platelet count increased to 127000 and his wbc count also increased to 3200. I kept giving him papaya leaf extract both morning and evening. Dengue Fever 5th & 6th Day: Once his platelets stopped dropping and started increasing he didn't have temperature at all. But when we took him for checkup in the evening, to our shock, though his platelets increased to 130000 and wbc to 5500 his blood pressure was still low. The doctor advised to increase his intake of electrolyte which we did. On the 6th day, his platelets improved still further and his blood pressure returned back to normal. My Personal Advice: Dengue mortality rate is increasing and even few days back, two people in our neighboring village died due to dengue fever. In my humble opinion, this is because we mistake dengue fever for ordinary fever. If you are living in a place where dengue is spreading and you have fever please visit a doctor and do a dengue test, it costs around 750 rupees but it will save our lives. The sooner we confirm it is dengue the faster will be the cure and also it will help platelets from dropping to dangerously low levels. The two essential things that will help treat dengue is hydration and papaya leaf extract. Hydration is the key for treating dengue, all fevers are dehydrating but it is especially acute during dengue fever. My son's lips used to look dry even after drinking liters of liquids throughout the day. Once he started taking electrolyte drink, it was much better so I definitely would suggest drinking electrolyte water. You can either buy electrolyte drink from the shops or make your own, I have given the recipe for electrolyte water below. Regarding papaya leaf extract, it definitely helps increase platelet count and even doctors recommend it. Fresh papaya leaf juice is bitter and if it is very hard for you to drink it, you can take papaya leaf tablets available in the markets. If you have dengue, be sure to test yourself daily even if you don't have fever till the platelet stops decreasing and stops increasing. I know it is hard, it definitely was for my son to travel daily from the village to the town for the blood tests when he had fever. But then it helps us to know whether the platelet count is decreasing or increasing and whether the amount of liquid intake that day was enough or not. Once the platelet count stops decreasing and starts the uptrend you can stop testing as the platelets usually does not decrease again. I would also suggest giving nourishing home cooked meals and fresh homemade juice instead of giving store bought breads and bottled juices. Please remember that in India, most of the so called whole wheat breads contains only maida as the main ingredient. Drinking coconut water will prevent leg craps caused due to low potassium levels, once my son started drinking coconut water he didn't have any leg cramps at all. Also if you are on any medication, please mention it to your physician. Dengue Prevention: Nilavembu kudineer will help prevent dengue to a certain extent as it helps increase our immunity. We can also prevent mosquitoes from breeding around our homes by getting rid of standing water......

I wanted to share tips, remedies and recipes to tighten loose skin after pregnancy. After delivery, our body changes in many ways and one of the biggest change is our sagging stomach. Don't be frustrated about it, our stomach stretches throughout delivery so give it some time to get back to it's original shape. The time it takes for our stomach to get back to it's normal shape depends on how much weight we gained during pregnancy, our fitness level and genetics also plays a main role. Here are 10 important tips that will help get rid of loose skin: 1. Dry Brushing: Dry brushing after delivery regularly helps greatly in tightening loose skin after delivery. Choose a good quality dry brush for best results, you can read about dry brushing in detail here. 2. Massage Oil: Regularly massaging your stomach during pregnancy will go a long way in preventing stretch marks. I would suggest starting the massage from the first trimester onwards, this will ensure that your skin is supple and will greatly minimize skin sagging. I have given my favorite massage oil recipe below. 3. Exercise: Do stomach strengthening exercises regularly like planks and crunches but if you have had a caesarean delivery I would suggest consulting your doctor before starting your exercise regime. 4. Don't Crash Diet: Don't try to cut down on your calories drastically, losing weight too quickly is also one of the main reasons for loose skin. 5. Massage Cream: Soon after delivery, start massaging your stomach everyday with a massage cream. Massaging regularly improves skin elasticity and helps tighten the skin greatly. I have given a homemade massage cream recipe below, use it regularly for best results. 6. Keep Yourself Hydrated: Keeping your body hydrated is essential for improving the skin elasticity and toning the sagging skin. If you don't like to drink water, try to consume more of hydrating ingredients like coconut water, soups, fresh juices, etc. 7. Consume Lots Of Protein: Consuming lots of protein is especially important after delivery to improve muscle mass, to have the energy to exercise daily and also to prevent sagging skin. Try to consume more of plant based proteins like nuts and legumes. 8. Use Exfoliating Scrubs: Weekly once use exfoliating scrubs to improve the blood circulation. I would suggest coffee and brown sugar scrub, it is gentle to be used on the stomach and helps improve the skin tone greatly. All these natural remedies work really well in tightening sagging belly skin after pregnancy and if used regularly will help tighten loose skin completely....

Home remedy to get rid of blackheads & whiteheads on face & nose naturally, permanently fast at home in 3 days. What Are Blackheads? Blackheads are small black painless bumps that appear on the surface of our skin, mainly our face. Blackheads are actually a mild form of acne that is most commonly found on the face but it can be found on the back, chest and even on hands. What Causes Blackheads? Blackheads are caused when our hair follicle get clogged with excess sebum. Each of our hair follicle contains a single hair and a sebaceous gland that produces oil. The oil secretion is what keeps our skin soft and smooth. The problem starts when there is excessive oil production. Excessive oil production can be due to hormonal changes, health conditions that plays havoc with our skin like pcos and stress, certain medications can also trigger more oil production or it can be hereditary too. When the excessive oil builds up, it clogs the hair follicles resulting in blackheads. Like some believe, blackheads are not caused due to dirt build up and is definitely not due to lack of cleanliness. What Are The Symptoms Of Blackheads? The definite symptom of blackhead is the black bump on our skin which gives it's name. Because of the black color it is is easy to spot blackheads. Unlike acne, blackheads are not inflamed so there will not be any pain. What is The Difference Between Blackheads & Whiteheads? When the pores get clogged, it is white in color first but when the clogged pores comes into contact with the air, it gets oxidised and turns black, that is the only difference between blackheads and whiteheads. What Not To Do when You Have Blackheads? Don't pick the blackheads, many of us pick blackheads with our hands but in my personal experience we can never remove blackheads by picking on them, it will only lead to wounds and scarring. Also don't use abrasive scrubs, it will cause intense skin irritation and redness. What Are The Home Remedies For Removing Blackheads And Whiteheads? 3 Natural Ways To Increase Breast Size Fast At Home
There are wonderful home remedies to increase breast size naturally without undergoing surgery. Genetics determine the size of our breasts for the most part followed by hormones. The female hormones estrogen and progesterone are necessary for the proper growth of breasts. If you suffer from hormonal imbalance, it can affect the growth of the breasts too. When it comes to increasing breast size naturally, the first tip is to do regular breast enhancing exercises that build pectoral muscles. Some of the best exercise that help with building pectoral muscles are push ups and chest presses (both dumbbell and barbell). The next tip is to increase the intake estrogen and phyto estrogen rich foods. Some common estrogen rich foods are fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, dairy products, soy products like tofu, soy milk, soy curd and soy nuggets, seeds like flax seeds and sesame seeds and dried fruits like apricots and prunes and also vegetable like alfalfa sprouts, sprouted moong beans. Phyto estrogens are dietary estrogen's that our endocrine system cannot produce and are derived from plants. The foods that are most high in phyto estrogens are flax seeds and other oil rich seeds followed by soy products. The third tip is massage, massaging with herb based breast enlargement creams and oils will work well in increasing the breast size. You do get plenty of breast enlargement creams and oils in the markets but I would suggest making your own breast enlargement cream and breast massage oil. I have given breast massage cream and breast massage oil recipes below using fenugreek seeds as a base. Fenugreek is phyto estrogenic herb and it stimulates the breast enlarging hormones if taken internally and applied externally thus increasing the breast size naturally. These remedies are 100 % natural and regular use firms up sagging breasts and helps increase the breast size naturally. Fenugreek oil for increasing breast size is made with both fenugreek seeds and fennel seeds as fennel seeds also help increase the breast size. The breast enlargement cream is made with fenugreek powder. Along with external application, try to include fenugreek seeds in your diet regularly too. You can take it in the form of fenugreek tea but please remember fenugreek seeds decrease the blood sugar levels so if you are a diabetic monitor your blood sugar levels closely when taking fenugreek tea. Choose either the massage cream or the massage oil and massage your breast daily along with doing breast enlarging exercise and also consuming estrogen rich foods to increase your breast size very fast. What Not To Do For Increasing Your Breasts? Though estrogen rich foods are good for increasing breast size, please don't consume estrogen tablets without consulting a doctor. Most of the supplements and breast enlargement pills on the markets contain estrogen enhancing substances and it is best to take them only under medical supervision as it can cause more harm than good. Instead follow these natural remedies and be consistent in using them and you will get bigger breasts without any side effects....
